Job Title: Training Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Manager to join our dynamic financial technology company. As a Training Manager, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that empower our employees with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their roles. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of training initiatives with the company's goals and objectives. Responsibilities:
Training Strategy Development:
a) Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive training strategy that supports the company's growth objectives and adapts to industry trends.
b) Identify training needs across various departments and levels within the organization through collaboration with department heads, managers, and HR.
Training Program Design and Implementation:
a) Create engaging and effective training programs that encompass a range of topics, including product knowledge, industry regulations, customer service, sales techniques, and technical skills.
b) Utilize a variety of training methods such as workshops, online modules, job shadowing, and simulations to cater to different learning styles.
c) Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and assessments.
Training Delivery:
a) Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for new hires and ongoing professional development, ensuring consistency in content delivery and message.
b) Foster an engaging and interactive learning environment, encouraging participant interaction, questions, and discussions.
c) Adapt training approaches based on participant feedback and evolving business needs.
Performance Evaluation and Feedback:
a) Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance metrics, and follow-up evaluations.
b) Analyze training outcomes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, making necessary adjustments to enhance training content and delivery.
Collaboration and Communication:
a) Partner with various teams to stay updated on product updates, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure training materials are accurate and up-to-date.
b) Maintain open lines of communication with department heads and managers to understand specific training needs and challenges.
Team Management:
a) Lead a team of training specialists and coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
b) Delegate tasks and oversee the creation and maintenance of training schedules.
Qualifications:
• BSc. /HND in Business, Finance, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience in training program design, development, and delivery, preferably in the financial technology or fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an easily understandable manner.
• Proficiency in using various training tools, e-learning platforms, and multimedia software.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
