Job Title: Senior Sales Manager
Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Analyzing data from internal systems and external sources to identify opportunities to improve sales performance
Identifying and contacting potential clients to determine their needs and assess their interest in the company’s products or services
Managing an existing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to help them increase their performance
Ensuring that company products or services are represented accurately in advertising and marketing materials
Develop strategies to increase market share by identifying new opportunities in existing markets or developing new markets
Developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve specific goals such as increasing revenues or improving customer satisfaction
Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, partners, and other external parties to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Providing leadership, training, and motivation to the sales team to help them meet their goals
Communicating regularly with senior management about the status of projects and issues that could impact performance
Requirements and Skills
BS/MS Degree in Business Administration or a related field
8-10 years of experience as a senior sales manager or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Experience working in a paper industry is a must
