Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Graphics Designer with an appetite for new ideas, a creative flair, and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. The ideal candidate will convey messages and information through illustrations, graphics, and patterns.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with other departments to understand design requirements, preferences, and expectations in line with the brand design guidelines.
2. Professional photo treatment or removal of watermarks.
3. Responsible and self-motivated for day-to-day creative projects, adhering to production and internal deadlines.
4. Consistently come up with new ideas of relatable graphics to the consumer market.
5. Study design briefs and determine requirements
6. Schedule projects and define budget constraints
7. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
8. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
9. Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
10. Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design
11. Test graphics across various media
12. Amend designs after feedback
13. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Requirements:

1. Minimum academic qualification of HND in fine art, or any other relevant subject.
2. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a graphics artist, visual effects, or similar role.
3. A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
4. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and CorelDraw)
5. A keen eye for aesthetics and details
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
8. Capability to deliver brilliant creative ideas and show amazing attention to detail.
9. Strong oral, and written communication. Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
